Circuits again

I've been getting mentally pumped up to build my theremin again. Ideally, I'll give it a shot before school starts. But before I do that, I want to get some practice soldering and playing with circuits. So that led me to circuit bending. Circuit bending, for those who haven't heard of it, is basically just fucking around with the circuits in audio devices (in my case, cheap children's toys) to try and make crazy or unique sounds. It's supposed to be pretty simple, and of course it's very rewarding because you get to make weird sounds.
So to get started I'm gonna have to head to a thrift store to buy some noisy kids toys. Anybody interested in tagging along/taking me to a bunch of thrift stores in their car (I'm looking at you, Victor) should let me know...
I think I should also buy a cheaper, smaller, lower voltage soldering iron because my dad's is a huge solder gun and would probably destroy any circuit boards I try to use it on.
Anyway, other bullshit: the Unreal Tournament 3 demo is very fun; Bioshock is sweet; Crysis is ridiculous; the new Sam and Max adventure games are fun; and seasonal winter beers are where it is at.

On the mountain at dawn...

If I were a geneticist I would dedicate my life's work towards isolating the mustache and facial hair gene's, give myself some killer whiskers, and then destroy my research so facial hair doesn't become cheapened by a surplus of genetically modified facial hair aficionados.
Then I would stop being a geneticist, smoke hella dope, and listen to Om.

Also, I would be Sherlock Holmes.

Who wants to go on walks with me and a camera?

School is pretty good, although I have a dumb assed essay to write tonight. Photo is fun and the classes go by quick when we're in the darkroom. Right now I'm trying to look at as many photographer's works that I can so I can find out people I like and get some books on them. I hate how cunt assed photographers don't have decent portfolios online. I don't care how long ago you died. I'm getting tired at looking at shitty low-res pictures. Anyway
I'd write about other classes but no one would give a cum and all interesting things I had to say have gone.
I got a hair cut and some new clothes the other day.
I almost got my license yesterday but couldn't get to the DMV...

OH BABY I WAS BORN TO CUUUUUM!

P.S. I think I made the best out of that dumb assed essay.
Also I found a list of the top 8 web comics and it's actually probably the best list of top web comics that I've ever seen (what you think I haven't seen these before? I see these all the damn time). Anyway, if anyone has time to kill, check out the comics linked from here. The only one I didn't already read regularly was Creased Comics and I'm reading that now... (I actually have seen it before though. I spend too much damn time on the internet)
